61 Avenue SW

The Chinook LRT Station area (Including 61 Ave SW) in the southwest of Calgary is defined as a Major Activity Centre in the Municipal Development Plan since 2013. To enhance 61 Ave SE between Macleod Trail SW and Centre Street S, ALSA executed the reconstruction and improvements of the greenway corridor along 61 Av SW, a pedestrian friendly transit plaza at Chinook LRT Station and various pedestrian and cycling connectivity improvements.
